Biography
Rahul Bali is a news anchor for Oconee Radio Group in Central Georgia. He also covers the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.
His 25-year broadcast career includes being the Capitol Correspondent for Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Lawmakers TV show.
In radio, he has been an anchor/reporter/editor for CNN Radio, WSB Radio (Atlanta) and WTOP Radio (Washington, D.C.). Rahul has also worked in Augusta, Georgia and Huntsville, Alabama.
He has appeared as a panelist in several televised debates for the Atlanta Press Club, including this year’s Georgia Senate debate for the seat held by U.S. Senator David Perdue.
Rahul graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in economics.
Rahul is also the National Director for the AAJA Radio and Podcasting Group and a member of The Asian American Journalists Association for more than 20 years.
