Biography
Nithin Coca is an Asia-focused freelance journalist, focusing on stories that build connections across borders, particularly in Southeast Asia, a vitally important region of the world that does not get enough attention in the English-language media.
Prior to working as a journalist, Nithin worked in advocacy communications and campaigns for organizations including the Walk Free Foundation, Sierra Club, Obama for America, Peace Action, and KEHATI.
Nithin received his BA in Communication from the University of Southern California, and his MA in International Affairs from Columbia University. He splits his time between bases in the San Francisco Bay Area, Japan, and Indonesia.
