Biography

Jin Ding is an experienced media professional in non-profit management, fundraising and inclusive storytelling. They are the incoming Chief-of-Staff at the Center for Public Integrity, a DC-based non-profit, investigative newsroom. She is the VP of Finance at the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and the co-director and founder of AAJA Women and Non-Binary Voices Affinity Group. They are also a co-founder of Chinese Storytellers, a community that serves and elevates Chinese professionals in the global media industry.

Jin started their media career in China as a sports journalist and reported on the 2012 London Olympics as a correspondent. She worked for NBC Sports, Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, the International Women’s Media Foundation and the Associated Press.
